Background and significance of the competition
大賽背景及意義
The Third International Youth Sustainable Innovation Summit (YSS2025) will be held in September 2025. It is a platform for international exchange, ideological dissemination and innovation empowerment from a global perspective, a grand event to gather young elites from all over the world and stimulate the innovation potential of young people around the world, and a window to show our future development opportunities. YSS focuses on the important issues of youth design innovation experience display, international exchange and cooperation, and sustainable development. It conducts discussions and actively seeks innovative solutions in the fields of sustainable living environment, sustainable fashion, sustainable product design, sustainable lifestyle, sustainable ideology, etc., so as to make sustainable development the sacred mission of the young generation.
第三屆國際青年可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新大會（YSS2025）將于 2025 年 9 月隆重召開。這是全球視野下國際交流、思想傳播、創(chuàng)新賦能平臺，也是聚集世界各地青年精英、激發(fā)全球青年創(chuàng)新潛能的盛會，更是展示我們未來發(fā)展機遇的窗口。YSS 聚焦青年設(shè)計創(chuàng)新成果體驗展示、國際交流 與合作及可持續(xù)發(fā)展等重要議題，圍繞可持續(xù)人居環(huán)境、可持續(xù)時尚、可持續(xù)產(chǎn)品設(shè)計、可持續(xù)生活方式、可持續(xù)意識形態(tài)等領(lǐng)域進行研討并積極尋求創(chuàng)新解決方案，讓可持續(xù)發(fā)展成為青年一代的神圣 使命。
In order to collect excellent sustainable innovative design works and achievements in the field of global human settlements design and stimulate the vitality of sustainable innovation in the industry, the organizing committee of YSS, together with the German Green Award, the International Green Future Alliance (International Green Award), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Global Innovation Network ESG& Carbon Neutral Investment Steering Committee and other international authorities, launched “the 2025 International Innovative Design Competition for Sustainable Living Environment (YSE2025)" global invitation and collection activities. Through global linkage, the competition will deeply explore the sustainable design concept and the most cutting-edge innovative practical works that lead the future development of living environment from an international perspective, so that the concept of sustainable development will be widely disseminated. It is an arena for innovative design, an incubator for education and inspiration, and a bridge between policy and practice.
為征集全球人居環(huán)境設(shè)計領(lǐng)域優(yōu)秀的可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新設(shè)計作品及成果， 激發(fā)行業(yè)可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新活力，YSS 大會組委會聯(lián)合德國綠獎、國際綠色 未來聯(lián)盟（國際綠獎）、聯(lián)合國工業(yè)發(fā)展組織全球創(chuàng)新網(wǎng)絡(luò) ESG& 碳 中和投資指導(dǎo)委員會等國際權(quán)威機構(gòu)重磅啟動 “2025 國際人居環(huán)境 可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新設(shè)計大賽（YSE2025）” 全球邀約征集活動。通過全球聯(lián) 動，大賽將以國際視野深度發(fā)掘引領(lǐng)人居環(huán)境未來發(fā)展的可持續(xù)設(shè)計理念、最具前沿的創(chuàng)新實踐作品，使可持續(xù)發(fā)展理念得到廣泛傳 播。這是創(chuàng)新設(shè)計的競技場，是教育與啟發(fā)的孵化器，也是政策與實 踐的橋梁。
The winner of International Innovative Design Competition for Sustainable Living Environment will be awarded ‘YSE GREEN Award’ . The award is the highest recognition given to individuals, teams or projects that have demonstrated excellence in the field of habitat sustainability. It is a hall of honor, bringing together innovative design results from around the world, showcasing best practices in green building, ecological planning, interior green design, etc., setting a global example, but also a motivational engine for future innovation and progress. At that time, the organizing committee of YSS will showcase the excellent results of the YSE GREEN Award at the main events in Chinese cities, and set up a key promotion exhibition area at the YSS side meeting site of the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in 2025.
國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新設(shè)計大賽的優(yōu)勝者將獲頒 “國際人居綠獎 （YSE GREEN AWARD）”。該獎項是對在人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)發(fā)展領(lǐng)域 表現(xiàn)卓越的個人、團隊或項目的最高認(rèn)可。它是榮譽的殿堂，將匯聚 來自全球的創(chuàng)新設(shè)計成果，展示在綠色建筑、生態(tài)規(guī)劃、室內(nèi)綠色設(shè) 計等方面的最佳實踐，在全球范圍內(nèi)樹立了榜樣，更是對未來創(chuàng)新與 進步的激勵引擎。屆時，YSS 大會組委會將在中國城市主場活動集中落地展示國際人居綠獎（YSE GREEN AWARD）優(yōu)秀成果，并在 2025 第三十屆聯(lián)合國氣候變化大會（COP30）YSS 邊會現(xiàn)場設(shè)置重 點推介展區(qū)。

YSE competition advocates the harmonious coexistence of people and space environment, and promotes the deep integration of low carbon emissions, resource conservation and ecological environmental protection in the fields of Interior design, architectural planning and design, landscape design, lighting design, project construction and other living settlements. Participants should focus on the "double carbon" sustainable development goal. Propose design solutions and construction practices that are rooted in practice, meet human needs and contribute to environmental protection. 1. Interior design?
01. Residence space: Ordinary residential, apartment, LOFT and loft, bungalows, villas, courtyard buildings, etc. ? 02. Hotel space: All kinds of boutique hotels, theme hotels, homestays, express hotels, scenic hotels, resort hotels and other commercial hotels. ? 03. 01. 私宅空間：普通住宅、公寓、LOFT 和躍層、洋房、別墅、合院建筑等。
02. 酒店空間：各類精品酒店、主題酒店、民宿、快捷酒店、景區(qū)酒 店、度假酒店等商業(yè)酒店。
03. 商業(yè)空間：各類商業(yè)中心、購物中心、大中型商場、商超及連鎖店、零售商店、美容沙龍、健身房、售樓處、樣板間等。
04. 辦公空間。
05. 餐飲娛樂休閑空間：各類宴會廳、主題餐廳、連鎖餐飲、咖啡空間、茶空間、酒吧、夜店、湯浴、會所、KTV、俱樂部、私人會客廳、 各類電影院、劇院、音樂廳等。
06. 公共服務(wù)空間：機場、地鐵、火車站、汽車站、醫(yī)院、養(yǎng)老院、醫(yī)療機構(gòu)、醫(yī)養(yǎng)綜合體、學(xué)校、教育機構(gòu)、圖書館、檔案館、規(guī)劃館、宗教場所、體育場館等。

2.Architecture design
Including but not limited to Residential building, Commercial buildings, Office buildings, Cultural and artistic facilities, Educational facility building, Industrial buildings, Traffic facility building, Tourism and leisure facilities building, Stadium building, Religious buildings, Medical building.
2. 建筑設(shè)計
包括但不限于住宅小區(qū)及單體住宅建筑、商業(yè)建筑、辦公建筑、文化藝術(shù)設(shè)施建筑、教育設(shè)施建筑、工業(yè)建筑、交通設(shè)施建筑、旅游休閑設(shè)施建筑、體育場館建筑、宗教建筑、療養(yǎng)醫(yī)療建筑等。
3.Landscape design
Including but not limited to Park green space, Urban public space, Municipal facilities, Residential environment, Industrial park, Hotel and resort, Scenic area, Large-scale green space system, Tourist scenic area, national park,Ecological restoration project, Renovation of existing landscape, Cultural tourist scenic area and planning, Residential hostel under the background of rural revitalization.

包括但不限于公園綠地、城市公共空間景觀、市政設(shè)施景觀、居住區(qū)環(huán)境景觀、產(chǎn)業(yè)園區(qū)規(guī)劃與景觀、酒店度假村景觀、風(fēng)景名勝區(qū)景觀規(guī)劃、大型綠地系統(tǒng)設(shè)計、旅游景區(qū)策劃與景觀設(shè)計、國家公園建設(shè)、 生態(tài)修復(fù)項目、既有景觀的更新改造工程、文化旅游景區(qū)規(guī)劃以及鄉(xiāng)村振興背景下的民宿景觀設(shè)計等。

Professional groups
There are five categories including personality Award, Institution award, Institution brand Award, design works award and innovation and technology Achievement award.
專業(yè)組含人物獎、機構(gòu)獎、機構(gòu)品牌獎、設(shè)計作品獎、創(chuàng)新科技成果獎共計五 大類別。
1. Personality Award:
01. International Excellent Emerging Designers of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025. New designers who have been working in the field for 3-8 years declare that the quota is strictly limited and vacancies are allowed.
02. International Distinguished Young Designers of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025.Young designers who have been working in the field for 8-15 years declare that the quota is strictly limited and vacancies are allowed.
03. International Senior Expert Designers of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025. Expert designers who have been working in the field for more than 20 years declare that the quota is strictly limited and vacancies are allowed.
04. International Top50 Outstanding Designers of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025. Set by category (architecture design, landscape design, interior public space design, interior residence space design). Represent the backbone of designers, strictly limit the number of places, allow vacancies.
05. International Top10 Leading Designers of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025. Set by category (architecture design, landscape design, interior public space design, interior residence space design). Open to cutting-edge designers only, limited to 10, open for vacancies.
06. International Top10 Most Influential Designers of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025.The designer should have a high social visibility and influence in the industry, and be set separately by category.
07. International Top10 Design Leader of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025. Designers should have far-reaching and extensive industry influence, strong appeal, strictly limit the number of places, allow vacancies.
08. 2025 Global Sustainable Development Green Design Pioneer Award. Designers always implement the concept of sustainable development in their work, and are active explorers and pioneers on the road of low-carbon and green design.
09. 2025 Global Sustainable Design Achievement Award. Applications are not accepted, the organizing committee invites 5-10 design masters who have made extraordinary achievements in the field of human settlements design.
10. 2025 Global Sustainable Development Design Contribution Award. Applications are not accepted, and the Organizing committee invites 5-10 meritorious figures who have made outstanding contributions to low-carbon sustainable innovative design in the field of human settlements design.

05. 2025 年度國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新 TOP10 領(lǐng)軍人物（類 別）。按類別（建筑設(shè)計、景觀設(shè)計、室內(nèi)公共空間設(shè)計、室內(nèi)私宅 設(shè)計）分別設(shè)置。僅面向尖端設(shè)計師，限額十名，容許空缺。
06. 2025 年度國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新 TOP10 最具影響力設(shè) 計師。設(shè)計師應(yīng)在行業(yè)內(nèi)具備很高的社會知名度和影響力，按類 別分別設(shè)置。
07. 2025 年度國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新 TOP10 設(shè)計領(lǐng)袖人物。 設(shè)計師應(yīng)具備深遠而廣泛的行業(yè)影響力、強大的號召力，嚴(yán)格限 制名額，容許空缺。
08. 2025 年度全球可持續(xù)發(fā)展設(shè)計碳路先鋒獎。設(shè)計師在工作中始終貫徹可持續(xù)發(fā)展理念，是低碳、綠色設(shè)計道路上的積極探 索者、前行者。
09. 2025 年度全球可持續(xù)發(fā)展設(shè)計成就獎。不接受申報，組委會 面向全球定向邀請 5-10 位在人居環(huán)境設(shè)計領(lǐng)域取得非凡成就的 設(shè)計大師。
10. 2025 年度全球可持續(xù)發(fā)展設(shè)計貢獻獎。不接受申報，組委會 面向全球定向邀請 5-10 位在人居環(huán)境設(shè)計領(lǐng)域為低碳可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新設(shè)計做出突出貢獻的功勛人物。
2. Institutional Award
01. International Top50 Design Agencies of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025（Category）. Set by category (architecture design, landscape design, interior public space design, interior residence space design). Is the representative of excellent design institutions, strictly limit the number of places, allowing vacancies.
02. International Top10 Design Agencies of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025（Category）. Set by category (architecture design, landscape design, interior public space design, interior residence space design).Only for large design enterprises, the limit of ten, allowing vacancies.
03. International Top10 Most Influential Design Agencies of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025（Category).The institution should have a high level of social visibility and influence within the industry, and be set separately by category.

02. 2025 年度國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新 TOP10 設(shè)計機構(gòu)（類 別）。
按類別（建筑設(shè)計、景觀設(shè)計、室內(nèi)公共空間設(shè)計、室內(nèi)私宅設(shè)計）分別設(shè)置。僅面向大型設(shè)計企業(yè)，限額十家，容許空缺。
03. 2025 年度國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新 TOP10 最具影響力設(shè)計機構(gòu)。機構(gòu)應(yīng)在行業(yè)內(nèi)具備很高的社會知名度和影響力，按類 別分別設(shè)置。
04. 2025 年度國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新示范單位。機構(gòu)應(yīng)在低碳可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新領(lǐng)域做出了系列代表性實踐，并具有很高的推廣示范價值。
3.Institutional Brand Award
International Top10 Design Brands of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025. （Category | Brand name）Set by category (architecture design, landscape design, interior public space design, interior residence space design). It is the embodiment of the brand value of excellent design agencies.
3. 機構(gòu)品牌獎
2025 年度國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新 TOP10 設(shè)計品牌（類別 | 品牌 名稱）。按類別（建筑設(shè)計、景觀設(shè)計、室內(nèi)公共空間設(shè)計、室內(nèi)私宅設(shè) 計）分別設(shè)置。是優(yōu)秀設(shè)計機構(gòu)品牌價值的體現(xiàn)。
4.Works Award
01. International Design Work Award of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025? Designers and institutions can declare, unlimited projects and schemes. According to the scope of works, gold awards (5), silver awards (10), bronze awards (20), and excellence awards (30) are set respectively.
02. International Top10 Project Award of Sustainable Innovation for Living Environment in 2025? Designers and institutions can declare, only completed or under construction engineering works. Set according to the scope of the work.
4. 作品獎
01. 2025 年度國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新設(shè)計作品獎? 設(shè)計師和機構(gòu)均可申報，不限工程和方案。
按照作品范圍分別設(shè) 置金獎（5 個）、銀獎（10 個）、銅獎（20 個）、優(yōu)秀獎（30 個）。
02. 2025 年度國際人居環(huán)境可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新 TOP10 精品案例設(shè)計師和機構(gòu)均可申報，僅限于已完工或在建的工程類作品。
按 照作品范圍分別設(shè)置。
5.Innovation and Technology Achievement Award
Only construction units are allowed to declare, and innovative technologies and processes applied in green and sustainable fields in the construction process are selected. According to the scope of the project, gold awards (5), silver awards (10), bronze awards (20), and excellence awards (30) are set up respectively.
5. 創(chuàng)新科技成果獎
僅限建造施工單位申報，精選建造施工過程中在綠色可持續(xù)領(lǐng)域應(yīng)用的創(chuàng)新科技和工藝。
按照項目范圍分別設(shè)置金獎（5個）、銀獎 （10個）、銅獎（20個）、優(yōu)秀獎（30個）。

1. Teacher Work Award of Sustainable Innovation for International Living Environment in 2025, not limited to projects and programs. According to the scope of works, first prize (2), second prize (5), third prize (10) and excellence award (10) are set respectively.

大賽申報事宜
1. Declaration process?
1. Submit your application form.
2. Determine the application options under the guidance of the Organizing Committee staff.
3. Submit the documents required for competition application.
4. Receive the notification of the preliminary and final evaluation from the Organizing committee.

2. Basic information of designer (suitable for designer application): Resume, ID card, business card, personal image photo (1-2) in Chinese and English.
3. Basic information of the organization (suitable for the application of the organization and brand): introduction of the organization in Chinese and English, business license, corporate logo.
4. Work information. Each project should include photo or video of the work and description of green, low-carbon sustainable and innovative design in both Chinese and English (including the title of the work).
Note: The Organizing Committee will keep the application materials submitted by the participants strictly confidential, non-refundable, and have the right to use them free of charge, including but not limited to publishing, exhibition, information release and other compliance activities. If you need to keep them confidential, please indicate. Participants shall be responsible for the legality of the information submitted. Participants shall take full responsibility for any disputes involving intellectual property rights and confidentiality principles.

2. 設(shè)計師基本資料（適合設(shè)計師申報）：中英雙語個人履歷、身份證、名片、個人形象照（1-2 張）。
3. 機構(gòu)基本資料（適合機構(gòu)及品牌申報）：中英雙語機構(gòu)簡介、營 業(yè)執(zhí)照、企業(yè) logo。
4. 作品資料，每套項目作品均須包括作品照片或視頻、中英雙語綠色低碳可持續(xù)創(chuàng)新設(shè)計說明（含作品名稱）。
溫馨提示：組委會將對參賽者遞交的申報資料嚴(yán)格保密、不予退還，并有權(quán)無償使用，包括但不限于出版、展覽展示、信息發(fā)布等合規(guī)行為，如需保密，請注明。參賽者須對申報資料的合法性負(fù)責(zé)，出現(xiàn)任何涉及知識產(chǎn)權(quán)、保密原則等糾紛的， 參賽者須負(fù)全責(zé)。
Competition review process
大賽評審流程
There are two stages, the initial evaluation and the final evaluation, which will be carried out by the expert team of the International Youth Sustainable Innovation think tank under the principles of fairness, justice and openness. The evaluation criteria focus on green, low-carbon and sustainable innovation, taking into account spatial aesthetics and functional optimization. The review process is as follows:
1. The competition evaluation team will sort out the information of the submitted works for preliminary evaluation, and screen out the participants who do not meet the application conditions and the application information is incomplete. A preliminary notice will be sent to eligible participants.
2. The evaluation working group of the Competition Office of the Organizing Committee will summarize the materials of the submitted works that have passed the preliminary examination for the expert jury to review the final evaluation, and the organizing committee will issue the award notice. Unsuccessful candidates will be notified by phone or email.
3. The Organizing committee will confirm the participation of the winners and receive the relevant information of the awards according to the notification requirements.

The competition is free of charge from the collection of works, expert review to some simple translations and the sending of relevant paper notices, and only the exhibition and promotion costs of the winners are charged.
